Our Response to COVID-19

As health care providers, DOCERE: Institute of Wellness shares in the increasing global concern about COVID-19. We want you to know we are taking the situation very seriously. As doctors, we rely on information which is scientifically proven and medically backed and, accordingly, are closely monitoring and adhering to the advice given by public health officials.

Our commitment to putting the health and safety of our patients and staff first is unwavering. We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of our clinic, and will continue to follow, as we always have, the standards of infection control set out by Health Canada, and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).

As an essential service, our clinic remains open during the provincewide "emergency brake" shutdown which begins today, April 3, 2021. Our team of Regulated Healthcare Professionals are permitted to offer consultations and treatments during this time, and will do so while maintaining our commitment to put the safety of our patients and staff above all else. If you would like to make any of the following changes, you can contact our clinic by phone at (289)273-3200 or by email at info@docereinstitute.com:

· If you would like to book an appointment with a professional on our Naturopathic Team (Dr. Amber Merrick, Dr. Hailey Traut), or our Psychotherapy Team (Noel Dibe).

· If you would like to convert a scheduled in-clinic appointment to a virtual telemedicine video appointment.

· If you would like to postpone a scheduled appointment to a later date. You can also contact our clinic to place orders for product, which can be picked up curbside at our clinic.

Each patient is required to wear a face mask for the entire time they are in our clinic. This can be a homemade mask, or a purchased surgical/N95 mask. We ask that you bring your own mask to conserve our inventory, but if you do not have a mask, one will be supplied to you.

Our Naturopathic Doctors, and Psychotherapists are seeing patients face-to-face in our clinic. Both the patient and healthcare professional will be required to wear the appropriate PPE during the entire visit, while practicing safe distancing measures. If you prefer to be treated remotely, we will continue to offer virtual Telemedicine video consultations.

We are offering IV Nutrient Therapy on Mondays between 10am and 3pm, to any existing patient of our clinic.

Our clinic hours are from 9am - 5pm on Mondays, and Wednesdays, and from 9am - 7pm on Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, have traveled or been in contact with individuals who have traveled outside of Canada, we strongly encourage you to self-quarantine.
