COVID-19 Update (June 8, 2020)

As health care providers, DOCERE: Institute of Wellness shares in the increasing global concern about COVID-19. We want you to know we are taking the situation very seriously. As doctors, we rely on information which is scientifically proven and medically backed and, accordingly, are closely monitoring and adhering to the advice given by public health officials.

Our commitment to putting the health and safety of our patients and staff first is unwavering. We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of our clinic, and will continue to follow, as we always have, the standards of infection control set out by Health Canada, and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).

UPDATE: June 8, 2020

Following “Directive #2 for Health Care Providers” set by the Ontario Government on May 26th, 2020, we are now offering face-to-face consultations in our clinic. Our team will remain available to respond to questions you have about the COVID-19 pandemic, to schedule appointments, renew prescriptions, supply products, and any other needs you may have.  Until further notice, the following implementations to our day-to-day business will be made:

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Each patient is required to wear a face mask for the entire time they are in our clinic. This can be a homemade mask, or a purchased surgical/N95 mask. We ask that you bring your own mask to conserve our inventory, but if you do not have a mask, one will be supplied to you.

Consultations

Our Naturopathic Doctors, and Psychotherapists are now able to begin seeing patients face-to-face in our clinic. Both the patient and healthcare professional will be required to wear the appropriate PPE during the entire visit, while practicing safe distancing measures. If you prefer to be treated remotely, we will continue to offer virtual Telemedicine video consultations.

IV Nutrient Therapy

We are offering IV Nutrient Therapy on Mondays between 10am and 3pm, to any existing patient of our clinic.

Nutraceutical Purchases

We will continue to carry our standard offering of professional grade nutraceuticals. We will only offer products to our existing patients on a pre-order basis, as walk-in purchases are no longer available. You must first contact our clinic with your order and form of payment, and we will contact you when your order is ready for pickup.

Updated Business Hours

Until further notice, our clinic will be open from 9am - 5pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays.

Pre-Screening

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, have traveled or been in contact with individuals who have traveled outside of Canada, we strongly encourage you to self-quarantine.
